Good Energy was previously know as unit(e). The company was established in 1999. They only provide "green energy" from renewable sources such from wind, small scale hydro and solar power generators.
They do not build renewable sites like suppliers such as Ecotricity, but supply only renewable energy so creating a demand for it and further investment from renewable generators.
They have around 15,000 customers across domestic and business markets at April 2006.
As with most renewable or green energy providers you will pay more than a tradional brown energy tariff but you will be doing your bit for the environment by using energy that does not contribute to the green house gas.
