Countywide Energy is owned by Countrywide Farmers. This is a company that has been supplying farms and the farming community with services for over 50 years. Countrywide energy is the energy arm to the organisation.
They tend to only supply domestic or smaller business end of the market and they do not supply all across the Uk. They only supply electricity and gas to the bottom half of England and Wales from the midlands downwards. They are a relatively small supplier with around 40,000 customers.
The energy is supplying mains gas and electricity, LP Gas, Heating Oil, Gas Oil, Derv, and Telecoms for customers in the rural community and commercial users.
They are owned by around 11,000 farmer shareholders.
