E.ON Announce Price Rise for Customers
E.ON formerly know as Powergen announced a range of price increases for UK customers.
E.ON has announced a 9.7% rise in electricity and 15% rise in gas, following similar big rises this year by a British Gas, Scottish Power, EDF Energy and Npower.
The price rise are effective for existing customers from Friday 8th February, except prepayment customers and Age concern which are effective 1st April 2008
Richard George, Managing Director of Saveonyourbills.co.uk commented "E.ON's price rise has not come as a shock. January is a time when looking back over the past five years energy prices change as a results of the winter period and high demand and high wholesale energy costs".
