Warm Deal Energy Grants Scheme

Warm Deal Energy Grants Scheme is only available to homes in Scotland. The Warm Deal Scheme provides energy grants up to £500 for a package of insulation measures to households in receipt of one of a range of benefits.
Warm Deal Energy Grant Scheme also provides a smaller grant up to £125 for pensioner households not on benefit.
The Warm Deal package of measures can include: cavity wall insulation, loft, tank and pipe insulation, draught proofing, four energy efficient light bulbs and energy efficiency advice.
Warm Deal has to date insulated over 331,000 homes investing over £70 million in improved energy efficiency.
The scheme is available to people on one of the following benefits
  • Attendance Allowance
  • Child Tax Credit with an income of less than £15,050
  • Council Tax Benefit
  • Disability Living Allowance
  • Housing Benefit
  • Income-based Job Seeker's Allowance
  • Income Support
  • Industrial Injuries
  • Disabled Benefit (which must include Constant Attendance Allowance)
  • Pension Credit
  • War Disablement Pension (which must include the mobility supplement or Constant Attendance Allowance)
  • Working Tax Credit with an income of less than £15,050
