Consumer Focus confidence code
The Consumer Focus confidence code is a voluntary code of practice for providing completely impartial and unbiased information via an energy price comparison.
The code has been run and audited by Energywatch for a number of years up until October 2008. In October 2008 Energywatch’s role as the consumer champion in the UK energy markets was taken over by Consumer Focus the new watch dog body.
SaveOnYourBills.co.uk’s involvement with the UK energy regulatory bodies goes back to 1999 / 2000 when Saveonyourbills.co.uk contributed to the white paper on online price comparison services produced by Ofgem, (the Office for Gas and Electricity Markets).
SaveOnYourBills.co.uk were one of the first companies to gain accreditation under the Ofgem scheme for price comparison services in 2001. To allow us to concentrate on helping the consumer and remain 100% impartial SaveOnYourBills.co.uk energy comparison services is provided through Energylinx, who are acreddited under the consumer focus scheme. This simply means the comparsion engine is provided by them and we own, run and manage the rest of your experience.
