E.ON, the new name for Powergen
From 3rd December 2007 Powergen is changing its name to take that of its parent company E.ON. E.ON, is one of the worlds largest investor owned energy companies, who is committed to changing energy for the better.

In the UK, E.ON generation business produces enough electricity to cater for the needs of around eight million homes. E.ON is one of the leading green generators, with 21 wind farms located from Cornwall to Northern Ireland and have recently finished building the UKs largest dedicated biomass power station at Lockerbie.

What is going to happen?

All that is going to change is the name of the company on your bills.

The rates you pay for your gas and electricity will be the same as will the contact numbers you have for Powergen.

You will get confirmation from E.ON / Powergen of the brand changes in the coming weeks if you have not already.
